What you need

cup sugar

cup flour

egg nog

oz butter
tbsp vegetable oil

tsp instant yeast

tsp vanilla extract
lemon zest
orange zest

cup nutella

cup almond
tbsp coarse sugar

egg yolk

tsp milk
Instructions
1: To a mixer add eggs, milk, sugar, yeast, vanilla and zest and beat until fluffy. 2: Sift your flour and add the dough attachment, then start kneading for about 10 mins while slowly incorporating the butter and oil. 3: Add to a floured surface, stretch the dough, shape it into a ball, and add it to a greased bowl. Cover and let it rest in a slightly warmed up oven for about 3 hours or until more than doubled in size. 4: Split the dough into 3 equal parts and roll each part, add Nutella, and roll into a stick. Repeat for each part and then braid them by pinching each side. 5: Add to a greased pan, brush with egg wash, sprinkle coarse sugar, and add almonds. Let it proof again for another hour in a slightly warmed up oven. 6: Bake at 350°F for about 50 mins, covering with aluminum foil once the top starts browning. 7: Let it cool if you can wait or dig in immediately.View original recipe
