Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 425°F. 2: Add sardines to a baking dish, split in half and optionally remove the spine; add lemon zest and juice, capers, and black pepper and bake for 10 minutes. 3: To make the goat cheese spread, mix goat cheese with lemon zest, juice, and black pepper. 4: Slice and season baguette with olive oil, salt, and pepper on both sides and sear on a skillet; rub a garlic clove on each slice. 5: Spread a spoonful of the goat cheese, place a sardine half on top, add thinly sliced sweet red peppers, dill, and pour some of the lemon/caper sauce over. 6: Serve with grilled lemon and enjoy!View original recipe
