1 cup low fat buttermilk

all purpose flour

1 ¼ cup all purpose flour

unsalted butter

3 tbsp unsalted butter

baking powder

½ tsp baking powder

vanilla bean paste

1 tsp vanilla bean paste

salt

maple syrup

berry mix

2 tbsp cane sugar

¼ tsp baking soda

Instructions

1. Beat egg with buttermilk, sugar, vanilla and salt until smooth and then sieve flour, baking powder and baking soda and mix well;
2. Slowly incorporate the melted butter;
3. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into a preheated waffle maker; add any toppings you like or leave then plain and cook them up;
4. Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
