Instructions
1: Remove shell and de-vain shrimp; pat dry shrimp and calamari and slice calamari into rings. 2: Soak calamari in buttermilk to tenderize them while preparing your dipping station. 3: To make shrimp batter, beat egg and add the rest of the ingredients; coat shrimp in flour then batter and lastly breadcrumbs and coconut mixture. 4: Coat calamari in flour then beaten egg and lastly breadcrumbs. 5: Deep fry both calamari and shrimp at about 325°F until golden on both sides. 6: Serve coconut shrimp with sweet chili sauce and calamari with tartar sauce and lemon and enjoy.View original recipe
