What you need

ginger root

garlic

sesame oil

rice vinegar

soy sauce

scallion

yellow onion

carrot
bean sprouts

green peas

pineapple
extra-virgin olive oil
ham

salt

jasmine rice
Instructions
1. Add rice, water and salt to a rice cooker, cook it and spread it out to cool off; 2. Chop and saute onions, carrots and ham in olive oil until golden; add peas in the center of the pan and cook for a few minutes; add more oil and crush garlic and grate ginger, cook for about a minute; then add pineapple and bean sprouts, cook until softened and lastly add the cooled rice; stir to combine and season with soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, green onions and black pepper; 3. Optionally serve in the carved pineapple and enjoy!View original recipe
