Ham and Pineapple Fried Rice

A delicious way to use leftover ham from Christmas by preparing Ham and Pineapple Fried Rice. This dish includes jasmine rice, ham, olive oil, pineapple, and a mix of vegetables, seasoned perfectly for a tasty meal.

What you need

cup water
tsp salt

cup ham

tbsp olive oil
cup pineapple

cup petite peas

cup bean sprouts

carrot

yellow onion

green onion

tbsp soy sauce

tbsp rice vinegar

tbsp sesame oil

garlic clove
tsp fresh ginger

black pepper
Instructions
1: Add rice, water and salt to a rice cooker, cook it and spread it out to cool off. 2: Chop and saute onions, carrots and ham in olive oil until golden; add peas in the center of the pan and cook for a few minutes. 3: Add more oil and crush garlic and grate ginger, cook for about a minute. 4: Then add pineapple and bean sprouts, cook until softened, and lastly add the cooled rice. 5: Stir to combine and season with soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, green onions and black pepper. 6: Optionally serve in the carved pineapple and enjoy!View original recipe
