1: Add rice, water and salt to a rice cooker, cook it and spread it out to cool off. 2: Chop and saute onions, carrots and ham in olive oil until golden; add peas in the center of the pan and cook for a few minutes. 3: Add more oil and crush garlic and grate ginger, cook for about a minute. 4: Then add pineapple and bean sprouts, cook until softened, and lastly add the cooled rice. 5: Stir to combine and season with soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, green onions and black pepper. 6: Optionally serve in the carved pineapple and enjoy!
